everyone.
by diy,
1) you can get a decent case and power supply
2) you can have a decent memory and video card
but you cannot save anything.
most of time, it is $100 higher than a whole desktop.
if dell or hp provide coupon or rebate, diy is $500 higher than dell or hp.
even diy, I still need to buy a dell lcd monitor at dell website.
but if I buy a desktop at dell, dell can give me discount if I buy lcd
monitor together with a desktop. Jesus, $100 saving is gone.

beat i7 or get a lowest end i7 and no dell can match your performance.

but don't forget HP have $350 instant rebate.
considering the rebate, diy would be higher.
moreover, when you buy smaller stuff such as keyborad and mouse,
the website will charge you shipping fee.
but you buy from dell or hp, no shipping fee.
