(a) the "hand" in "the worst possible hand" is a noun defined as "the cards
or pieces held by a player."
(b) Mr. Huang says, "Tell me about something where you just shanked into the
woods." I can not find what it means.

recently. Business is business; too much personal ego will hurt decisions.

is why Kingston a year ago tried to join Taiwan Memory Company (TMC)
sponsored by the Taiwanese government, to get hold of upstream (making
memory chips, that is).
But does memory module mean assembly? Why is state-of-the-art equipment
needed? Can't assembly be accomplished with human labor, as in toys?

It turned out to be a golf idiom.
(a) shank (transitive verb): "to hit (a golf ball or shot) with the extreme
heel of the club so that the ball goes off in an unintended direction" www.
m-w.com
I disregarded it because the web dictionary only lists transitive verb but "
shank into the woods" obviously is an intransitive verb.
(b) If one googles with the term "shanked into the woods," he will find
numerous items. Yesterday I could not find any, bec

do you really think that could be assembled by hand?
actually, machine does it more efficiently and accurately.
machines are good at things big or small with regular shapes.
toys, clothing are cheaper if you can find cheaper labors.
As of memory, Taiwan is a major sites for memory chip manufacturing.
however, due to lack of R&D and core IPs, most of them are just OEM makers,
work for the labors.
