shipped in 3 weeks. Then one week later, it showed an estimated shipping
date of May 21. I had to cancel it since I couldn't wait that long.
I then ordered a X201 Tablet as a replacement, and was told it would be
shipped on April 23. I waited for about 20 days, and today the estimated
shipping day changed into May 10.
Most people around me used Thinkpad a few years ago. Now, almost all of them

configuration is built after ordering.And shipped from China directly.
You can order from online retailer such as provantage.com or costcentral.com
. They have most thinkpads in stock, usually delivered in 1~5 business days. The
price is higher though.
Cheaper price or faster delivery? you can't have both.

不过确实心里没底，Thinkpad质量也未必好得到哪里去，性能的话现在都是大路货的
cpu / chipset / RAM / HDD组成的开放结构，Thinkpad更加没有多少关子可以卖。
Dell有时候告诉你要拖时间，你要屏一下，往往没那么久，08年初有个core 2 duo的
Vostro 1500卖$399，算大deal，定了之后觉得这回有得等了，结果还是7天就到手；
lenovo则是说拖10天，一般肯定要10天以上，要么是他们觉得这是好东西就应该慢慢装
hhh？要么就不得不承认国企生产管理差这个事实。

Yes, I noticed that the price for customized model at lenovo.com is higher
than other price. The one I ordered before had the same specs with this one.
