social network website for business peoples and plan to launch the website
by the end of this year. We are interested in finding an experienced
marketing specialist and media wizard to join our team as a co-founder. Our
ideal candidate will spearhead every aspect of the company's growth from
telling the company's story from a business perspective; creating and
implementing a comprehensive social media outreach strategy; networking with
bloggers; organizing targeted event sponsorships and wooing people in tune
with our brand. The ideal candidate is experienced in and enthused by all
types of social media, digital content, and virality online. They are also
comfortable making connections, networking, cold-calling and promoting our
brand/voice/content in unexpected and creative ways.. They can tap all
outreach channels to grow the company and bring us to the next level. Good
judgment and an ability to adapt an editorial voice are a must. You may be
assigned some other works depending on the needs of the company.
Preferred three to six years of experience as a lead marketing specialist or
playing a key role in marketing and strategic planning.
Expertise or skills are better in one or more of following areas:
Our Marketing/Social Media Virtuoso will:
* Grow our brand through our various social media platforms : Linkedin,
Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, and create engaging content on emerging
platforms for our brand such as Reddit, Pinterest, and Tumblr. Some famouse
Chinese social media platforms such as Weibo, Wechat are also included.
* Monitor, listen, and engage with our users (via answering comments, RTing,
etc), in order to maintain an ongoing conversation with our members.
* Create new socially-based campaigns and think proactively about
establishing new content that is exclusive to
our social channels.
* Be able to monitor analytics and find out what works best and why and
relay that to the rest of the team.
* Monitor trends and the news cycle and contribute ideas on how to
capitalize on them for our members.
* Post throughout major business events etc.
* Organize events with targeted outlets to expand our brand
* Network at appropriate media, web and business-oriented events
* Proficiency in English, Chinese
* Good English communication skill as well as strong writing skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects
* Self-motivate and proactive attitude
* Are willing to take risk and work hard and a good team player
* Have strong interest and ambition/motivation in joining a start up
* Good time management and task management
* Passion on start your own business
* Willing to learn and be successful
* Prefer the person is based in San Francisco/Silicon Valley area

This is a pre-seed stage start-up, co-founders do not have salary in the
beginning. If you are looking for a salary job, please skip this post. This
is a part time job.
