放在卧室隐藏。想了解一下铁皮工具箱放枪有什么坏处。主要是防止小孩拿到。

Sentry Safe Biometric Quick Access Pistol Safe”也常有打不开的情况。还有能被
其他人打开的情况。相对来说用钥匙的好像还可靠些。

I would strongly advise you steer clear of this seller and product.
Overpriced and unreliable. Imagine having this beside your bed and the
biometric reader not working when you really need it to protect your family.
If I wanted to use the key pad I wouldn't have paid the premium for
biometric.
I contacted the manufacturer by email, provided a detailed description of
the issues and shared my concerns. Twice. Heck I was just looking for some
help. Not even the courtesy of a reply. Defective unit or POC? Who knows?
I have two safes made by Barska that I purchased on sale at a third of the
price--both have the red light scanning biometric of a finger. Not once have
either one of these failed. However, 50% of the time this Sentry Safe
biometric function fails.

I purchased the Sentry Safe Biometric Quick Access Pistol Safe less than two
months ago. It worked great at first. I programmed in two of my
fingerprints and two of my wife's. I tested it dozens of times and it worked
each time without a problem. I would even "check" it every few days just to
make sure. I was at the point that I was sure I could trust it. Now? I
slide it out from under my bed and scan my finger.... nothing. It lights up
and the combination buttons work, but the fingerprint reader has stopped
working. Imagine having an intruder in your home and finding out it won't
work. The very nature of what this safe is for means that it has to work 100
% perfectly 100% of the time. It only takes one malfunction, and you and
your family could be dead. The frustrating part is that I am past my window
of opportunity to return it. So now I have a safe that can only be opened
with the buttons or the keys. I could have bought that model for $100 less.
Do NOT trust this safe.

I purchased this safe and the biometric access worked perfectly initially.
After two months the safe wouldn't respond to three out of four prints. The
fourth print would only work after many attempts. I completely reprogrammed
the unit. All the lights indicated it was programmed and ready... but it
still wouldn't open using the fingerprint reader. I had to use the key to
gain access. I'm still using the safe but only with the manual buttons. It's
well built and fits my needs. My advice is that if you like this safe save
yourself $64 and buy the model with the buttons only. You don't want to
trust your life to the Biometric model.

Unfortunately this was a nice safe for about 6 weeks. I understood when
purchasing it you needed to press any button to "wake" the safe, then punch
your code. I found that you could not punch in your code fast, but needed to
take your time, making this the wrong safe for any weapon you want to
obtain quickly and under stress, but that was OK as well. However, after
approximately 6 weeks the code no longer works, the safe seems to accept the
code, the light turns green, there is an audible "click," but the door does
not open except with the key. This is completely unacceptable for any
combination safe. I have stored weapons in safes, some similar to this, for
over 30 years, after security, reliability is paramount, I can't rely on
this safe.
