Project Veritas visited police stations nationwide and asked law enforcement
officials how they could protect themselves in the event of an armed break-
in. "Go get some bleach. Go get ammonia," one officer instructed. Yet
another officer instructed the undercover journalist to, "lock yourself in a
bedroom" and "start yelling and screaming."
Vice President Joe Biden recently advised Americans to, "get a shotgun" for
home protection. But when asked whether or not they should follow the Vice
President's advice, law enforcement officials told the undercover

子好女儿。可是根本不是那么回事儿。警察也是人，不是超人。在遇到情况了，还是需

. 你可以挥球棒, 泼氨水,跑路,尖叫,祈祷...或者抄起把枪. Your life, your choice.

Westchester County。Bronxville的警官说“take a year to get a pistol permit”

实际情况：
在Westchester County, 要申请pistol permit, 你首先要付钱买枪 - 但是根据纽约州
法，没有permit， 你不能碰手枪。所以你只能隔着玻璃柜子看，看中了那一只，付钱
买下 - 但是没有permit， 不能拿走，要留在枪店保管。抄下序列号，回去填申请表。
填完申请表，给Westchester County Pistol Permit Unit打电话，预约一位County
Police Officer面试 - 这个面试目的是go over your application, 确定你的材料齐
全，看起来不像有神经病。之后警官会向County Judge推荐是否给你permit。最终
Judge决定你是否能拿到permit。
目前最新的信息：police officer interview已经排到2014年2月。所以，等一年，才
能把你的申请表递上去，一般再等6个月，judge才能最终给你permit - 所以基本上要
一年半才能拿到pistol permit。
