发帖数: 106 | 10 I post this on other forum about the mag extension. This apply to
other Norinco 870 clones (HR Pardner Protector Pump, Hawk 981 and 982). The
mag tube needs to be modified (drill/grind off 2 dimples). same when do
the +1 option.
I have the Chaote 3.5" 870 mag extension on my 982. I custom ordered mine
from Chaote while back. It is not their normal catalogue item. You have to
call to order it. I hope this post will generate enough demand for Chaote to
put it on their catalog. I can say it is like the Max100 mag extension.
The kit comes with new spring and high visible follower and barrel clamp. It
has increased my 982 capacity to 7+1 (Federal and Fiocchi). However, you
can not use the follower that comes with the kit to get the last 7th round.
It is the long tail follower that will take up the room. You can use the
stock plastic follower instead to get the 7th. I replaced the stock thin
plastic follower with the Vang Comp System stainless mag follower with no
feeding issue. The SS follower feeds smoother than the plastic piece. The
chaote's matt black finish matach the 982 well. However, the inside tube
needed a little spur clean up on mine. The mag extension stays very secure.
I have about 300 rounds with it so far and it never come loss once with no
clamp installed. |
