Great Deal on Repair Grade SKS Rifles

Here is the story - A couple of months ago we were offered a buyout of all
the remaining product codes that a large importer had in stock on Yugo SKS
Rifles. They had several different odds and ends available that were
basically the remaining pieces out of a shipment of several thousand rifles.
One of the codes that we picked up was SKS-GI....
The GI stands for Good Incomplete... Basically , as they were grading the
rifles if they came across one with a minor flaw, they would set it aside
and give it this designation.
Well Yugo SKS's are drying up so we took them. Upon receipt we found that
the vast majority of these were missing the safety lever and or safety lever
spring. In most cases the lever is either broken off flush with the trigger
guard or the spring is missing and the lever just flops around. We have
about 80 of these and this is the problem with the vast majority of them,
however we have found a few that will have dented site hoods or maybe a
missing front sight post, etc.
It is not uncommon that the safety levers on SKS rifles get broken off due
to the way they pack the rifles in the shipping crates. Apex Gun Parts among
others has replacement safety levers in stock for cheap. We started to just
buy a batch and do the repairs ourselves and have held off listing these
until we had a chance to do it. However, we are just covered up with
business and it appears that time is not going to soon allow so Rick said to
post them and sell them as is as gunsmith specials and pass the savings on
to you.
What to expect - These rifles are in overall good condition. You can expect
some dents and dings on the stocks but no cracks. The blue has typically
been 80 to 100 % with most being closer to 100%. They will all have some
minor but easily repairable flaw but I have found nothing that should affect
feed, function or firing capability of these rifles.
I personally will be pulling these rifles and inspecting them before they
ship.
If anything is majorly outside of these boundaries or conditions I will not
release that rifle.
Because of potential liability issues we are offering these as gunsmith
specials, as is, no returns accepted. However, as I stated above... What you
have read, is what you can expect.
