WTF is that supposed to mean?
I've gotten the same treatment in the U.S Navy if not worse, because some
people are just assholes; but I've seen some very decent people too, people
who've done good things and deserve a little respect.
If you haven't served, don't talk down on us.

算最操蛋的事。
另外也看到他是一个开朗并且爱开玩笑的人，不知是不是这样也得罪人。他人比较的瘦
小，好像瘦小的人都容易被人欺负。 |

people
no disrespect towards US military's service men/women. after all, we all
benefit from them.
but it doesn't change the fact that asian-american service men have to
endure more racial slurs and pressures in the military. this is the second
time such case occured this year, look up Lance Cpl. Harry Lew for yourself.
they're just kids who put their lives in danger to serve the country. and
they deserve much better than this.

most decent people in the society. Their service is honorable and hope it
makes them better men/women.
However, it is also a fact that the intrinsic indecency of those soldiers
will, statistically speaking, manifest itself as shit like this. I am not
saying all soldiers are indecent people and do indecent shit like this, all
I am saying is some do and why they did, are doing, and will do the shit.
It is hard to believe racism did not have a big role in this incident. War
always brings out the worst out of people. US is intrinsically a racism county. |

Asians in the U.S Armed Forces have been doing okay, thanks for worrying.
Hell, there are so many Asians in the military nowadays, that white people
are becoming minorities.

to anyone who is physically and mentally capable.
My step brother, just another Chinese immigrant like me, who used to be a
computer geek and a total loser by all definitions, ran away from home and
joined the Navy after seeing how I benefited from it. Now he's about to make
Fire Controlman 2nd class, he turned his life around.
Yeah he got picked on in boot camp, I did too, big time. There were times
that I wish I was some other color or have a different last name, and there
were times that it gets really ugly, but eventually we all got over it and
we became better men.
From what I've seen, it really doesn't matter what color or creed. There are
big dumbass white farmboys who got picked on just as much as anyone else,
and there are skinny little Filipino woman running a division. It's really
up the the individual's personal strength, it's like that anywhere in this
world.
If I have kids I'd encourage them to serve as well. |

那个自杀的小孩可能确实不谙社会， 受不了了。 如果能更练达一些， 应该能克服困
