发帖数: 8941 | 4 FNP的准头我倒是没什么抱怨的，扳机感觉也还不错。
我特别不舒服的就是它的握把，感觉比Glock还要宽大。
还有一个很大的缺点，就是在枪的左侧，分解销、空仓挂机解脱柄、保险，这三个部件
一字排开，所以想解除空挂的时候很不方便，因为那个解脱柄被夹在中间，不容易够到。
真不明白，为什么不把空挂解脱柄和分解销做成一个部件，很多枪都这么干 |

The latest version of the pistol will have a roll pin right beneath thr rear
sight and will be visible from the side.
It will be stamped with "SAI-Trussville, AL" as the importer. All other
import markings are older versions.

It does not have a firing pin block.
Maybe it is not an issue, but you have to consider if you care about that.
It is said that Steyr claimed even if the firing pin is accidentally
released, it won't have enough energy to fire the round in the chamber.
My point is: even if this claim is true, why not add a firing-pin block for
extra safety since almost all other manufactures do that?
But anyway, it is your choice to trust or not trust it.
That is the only concern I have for Steyr.
And that is the only reason that I recommend XD instead of Steyr to others
now. |

I think Steyr is more good-looking (I think XD looks ugly), better
ergonmoics. Lower bore axis means less muzzle jump.
and probably, better made (not very sure)
I trust Steyr manufactuer more than Crotierian manufacture.
Springfield is not really making XD. XD is designed by Crotiera, and made in
Crotieria, only bearing Springfield logo.
Mine is a M40A1 in 40SW, I found the gun is strong. The chamber fully
supports the case. I do not know if XD40 also fully supports the case. They
claimed so, but I am not sure. My Steyr shot lots of hot loads, including my
own handloading hot ammo. You can feel the gun kicks like a 357Mag or even
more, but the gun works well.
