发帖数: 5644 | 2 不要用assault rifle这个词。特别是和对枪械比较敏感的人说话，要用firearm，不要
用weapon。尽量不要说gun，有个笑话说，警察一听这个词，自己的家伙掏出来。说
pistol，revolver，shotgun，rifle etc。
assault rifle是里伯肉对semi-auto rifle的误导说法。真正的assault rifle是full-
auto，只有class 3 FFL可以持有。
什么地方都可以讲价。best buy什么的都可以。一般叫ask discount。 |

“VA似乎是禁止的”这个来源是什么 你如果想弄清楚state gun law google是比较可
靠的信息来源 一个字一个字的读下去 我当时就是这样做的
还有一点就是即使是合法买 很多枪店也不熟悉这个非绿卡流程 曾经有个店员说他卖了
20年枪从来没有卖给过非绿卡的 他到现在还不知道hunting license这个途径 别的店
可能就知道 你应该看看精华区VA MD卖给外国人的店list
是合法的 但是未必人人知道这个细节
正如楼上说的 assault rife是自动武器 这些definition都可以google到 不要乱用

发帖数: 955 | 5 VA的法律规定非公民绿卡能买的半自动步枪弹夹不能超过20发，不能装消音器。其实这
个条件很好满足，但是绝大部分枪店不了解这些法律细节，或不想麻烦，都不会把ar，
ak卖给外国人。

第一次购枪，看了看Federal和state的法律。Federal law比较清楚，有了Hunting
License非公民非绿卡就可以买枪拥枪。VA的法律比较模糊，似乎连手枪都是非法，跟
周围情况似乎不符。哪位有经验能解释一下？关键是最后一段，好象手枪也是assault
firarm对非公民非绿卡为非法.

?18.2-308.2:01. Possession or transportation of certain firearms by certain
persons.
A. It shall be unlawful for any person who is not a citizen of the United
States or who is not a person lawfully admitted for permanent residence to

knowingly and intentionally carry about his person, hidden from common
observation, an assault firearm.
B. It shall be unlawful for any person who is not a citizen of the United
States and who is not lawfully present in the United States to knowingly and
intentionally possess or transport any firearm or to knowingly and
intentionally carry about his person, hidden from common observation, any
firearm. A violation of this section shall be punishable as a Class 6 felony
.
C. For purposes of this section, "assault firearm" means any semi-automatic
center-fire rifle or pistol that expels single or multiple projectiles by
action of an explosion of a combustible material and is equipped at the time
of the offense with a magazine which will hold more than 20 rounds of
ammunition or designed by the manufacturer to accommodate a silencer or

先例证实是可行的。不必纠结了。

发帖数: 253 | 9 Virginia的州法对assault weapon的定义是这样的：
rifle:
1）弹夹容量超过20发
2）muzzle 是为接收消音器而设计的
3）折叠式stock（伸缩式不算）
具有以上特征的rifle只有美国公民，与绿卡持有者可以购买。
shotgun:
1）折叠式stock（伸缩式不算）
2）弹夹可以放入7发最大的子弹（2 3/4”，3“ 的shotgun可以装7发3“子弹的就是
assult weapon）
具体问题，具体分析，例如：
arsenal 107f为assault weapon（折叠式stock）, 但是arsenal SGL21-61就不是（没
有折叠式stock，厂家配装5发子弹的弹夹），而SGL20-41就是（没有折叠式stock，但
是厂家配装了30发的弹夹）
