Let me share with you my experience.
I have a relative flat lot, but when I build my house, I hired a excavation
company to dig the basement and change the grading (slope a little bit) A
lot of dirt was digged up and pushed around to make the current landscape. (
this have nothing to do with the pond I dig up if you read my other posts
before, that was done a | A*P

多: sump pump还是因为水多吧，多大的地？
Just in case, cheap extra insurance, some pump never run, only 2 pumps run
when there is lots of rain.
万一断电都有battery backup还是有generator
out感觉水可以顺着坡流到后面地势低的地方。
I have a mirco turbine generator, no battery back up, too much on going cost
to replace after a few years. | A*P

合适的地, 几乎全部材料从中国买, 自己的设计和劳力, 便宜的简直一塌糊涂... 大概
我们需要一个专门的地盘讨论怎么干, 哪怕从自己住角度讲也是有意义的.

Where I live now used to be farm, that is how I got it cheap. I got the land
from a beef farmer. You will not believe this I put a contingency of
finding natural gas as part of my contract since I am more interested in
buying the mineral rights of the land. I search for over 4 years for this
land, finally found one, I was kind of lucky. I had plan to build my 孩子 a
place to live when | A*V

I have dug a water well and natural gas well (which is the main reason I
choose this land).
I also have a large pond filled with water now.
I do not use public water or sewer (I am just too far out for them to reach)
I am hooked up to electric grid, but most of my electricity is generated by
micro turbine and a few wind turbines.
According to my calculations, I have enough gas to las | A*V

发帖数: 767 | 11 不那么简单的，仅仅一个小小的电源插座如果不是UL/SA certified, 地方建筑审查
部门都不会通过INSPECTION的。地方政府靠检查buliding safe code 捞了很多的钱呢.俺建个
DECK就得交三百多for inspection and certification.
