我8月份去加州，现在在这里买枪还来得及在搬家之前买到吗？如果这里买了枪怎么运到
加州去？到了那里还需要什么手续吗？

1。昨天和今天上了两天的hunting education课。今天拿到了“Hunter Safety
Education Student Card” ，一个小绿片，上面写着"This is to certify that XX
has successfully completed the requirements prescribed ..."，还有一个号码。
这个是不是就是大家所说的hunter education certificate?
2。IL的这个Hunter Safety Education Student Card拿到加州可以用吗？还是必须重新
上过Hunting education course啊？

license related questions.
2. You can transport firearm (not in any carry-on luggage though) when you
take flight but you need to check with your airline company first. Note that
an FOID card is required in IL any time to possess a firearm, so you must
get the card if your flight departs from IL. There are some limitations on
ammo (the number of rounds).

拒信中有两条理由：
1。Illinois Compiled Statutues, 430 ILCS 65/8, prohibits the Illinois State
Police from issuing a FOID card to anyone illegally in the united states.
2。Federal firearm law prohibits the transfer to or possession of firearms a
nd ammunition by aliens admitted to the United States under a non-immigrant
visa.

while. You are moving between the two worst States regarding gun
regulations. Illinois - worse... Cal - worst. Hunting license in Illinois
has nothing to do with FOID card in Illinois. They only issue FOID to green
card holder or US citizens in Illinois. Not sure how they are going to
treat you in California if you want to own guns. Good luck.
