H-1B签证拿到后才能替配偶申请H-4

Q:Since I am going to apply H-1B, can I apply H-4 for my husband
at the same time? Or shall I wait till after my H-1B got
approved then apply for him?

A: You need to apply for H-4 for your husband after you have
received your H-1B approval. His change of status application
should be filed on form I-539.
