That's the right and great choice.
you hook the ball by close the face which de-loft the club and ball will run
longer. Gap wedge are more like a Pitching wedge. Bubba for sure can reach
the hole with Pitch Wedge.
He was lucky that the pin was at the back of the green. if it was a front pin location, it would be much worse for Bubba.
