yesterday. Not many Chinese at this range, mostly Koreans. So I was kind
of happy to see a Chinese kid picking up golf.
I hope the kid is waiting for the first lesson. If not this "teaching pro"
ought to be fired.
This kid can't even make contact consistently. So I gave a couple of very
obvious fundamental tips on set-up and grip. ( Feet is way to wide apart,
trying to scoop the ball up, holding club in palms instead of fingers.)
Should I have done that ? | t***w

time for practice.
I personally don't mind unsolicited easy quick-fix type of tips at any time.

strangers) on the range or the course. I think I improved a lot from these
opinions. | v***s
发帖数: 4031 | 4 It's nothing wrong to give advice to other golfers at a driving range.
Beginners will appreciate that. You also get known others. I usually don't
offer my advice to the people I don't know, even to those we play together.
When we practice together, I might say: you hit the mat first, or the
clubface's not squared at impact, or I would hit the ball higher and let it
roll less, etc.

I debated a little before offering the tips, hoping the kid would have more
fun with the game instead of wasting time and giving up.

game, there is already lots of ABK or ABJ kids playing.... Every time I see
a new young Asian golfer on TV... there is a 90% chance he/she is a Korean.
Instead of the Anthony Kim, Kevin Na, Michelle Wie....
I hope to see some Andy Zhang, Micheal Wang, or Lindsey Zhou... on TV
