flat rate for his caddie work annually. Say $500,000, I believe, probably a
lot more than that figure during the years Woods made 5 or 6 millions or
more yearly. Let's see how much Woods has made this year, a little over $500
,000, just enough to cover Williams' salary. Woods has not won for a while
and can't play at all. He can't generate more income and his endorsement
money is getting less and less. He needs to decrease his expenditures. His
ex-wife is a huge expenditure, and so is the house. He can't decrease the
expenditures on them. William is a big one as well and he can do something
on that.
In addition, If he did not get rid of Williams, Williams would get rid of
him sooner or later. Plain and simple. |

for Tiger, it is petty cash. Also, With Steve Williams he won so
many tournaments. That chemistry is invaluable.
This move is not about money.
