sometimes others make all kinds of comments before i putt, somehow, those
words can easily distract me.
for example:
others may comment: the green is very fast; or, i misread the slope, after
their putting. or they might say: i think he couldnt make it, or i think he
should make it. Although they are very quiet and respectful during my
putting, but i can not help keeping thinking those comments. Apparently, i
can not ask other stop saying what they want to say.
How you prevent those things affect you?

1是就如你说的，你本来没注意到有什么特别的，就是凭感觉推，还好。
如果有人说了啥 － 这时候呢，没推好不知是该怪别人告诉了呢，还是其实自己就是不
太适应该果岭。
我个人的体会是，打一个球场的果岭可能是最需要时间的learning process...

problem is, while I am trying to concentrate on my putting, more often than
not, my brain feels empty, and my mind feels blank. I concentrate more on
the result than the ball speed and path.

the only problem is that my putting in general not very good.
avg 8 3-putts per 18 holes with few recently plays. There are all kinds of
problems with my putting, now compounding with lack of focus, made it even
worse.
if I can make all the 3-putts to 2-putts, i would be in 80s; if i can make
all those in 1-putt, i could get in 70s. but ... that is only "if"

in putting, distance control is the key. Green reading shall focus on the
speed and up/down hill instead of break. when your speed is right, you will
have a tap in left. | A*f

my typical hole is to aim the center of the green, and 3 putts from there.
that gave me a lot of presure, especially, within 100, where i have to be
aggressive to get the ball closer, ie, aim the pin. Usually, the outcome is
not very good either.

approach shot always the most important and most difficult one on the golf
shots.
In tee shot, you have a fairway to hit to.
in approach shot, you have a green and Pin which is much smaller than a
fairway but shorter distance.
I work on my approach shoot (irons) most of my practic time anyway.

and improve our short game, having the ball land close to the pin.
Definitely we can reduce our putts per round. I've spent a lot of time on
putting and pitching and chipping since the last year, and I've benefited a
lot from that.

发帖数: 3067 | 11 其实我是强调PUTTING要是CONFIDENT的话，会对APPRROACHING有很大帮助
就像你前面提到的200YARDS的PAR3，我基本上是一杆上（要是能上的时候），其实不追
求什么，在GREEN中间就成了。可是上来之后3PUTT，结果跟你两杆LAYUP-2PUTT是一样
的，但心情大不一样
我也是在短杆（125以内）的时候尽量想攻旗杆，不过，打多的人都知道，APPROACHING
的结果没有只往GREEN中间送好，压力太大，很多时候还要赔上一两杆
当然APPROACHING跟PUTTING是相辅相成，APPROACHING好了，PUTTING当然也容易。但是
有人拿枪逼着你APPROACHING的时候，我觉得是适得其反。
PUTTING我有一个最大的毛病是BACK-STROKE的时候，线路不稳，感觉走不直，所以
PUTTING回来的时候不CONSISTANT，还有就是朋友说我的是碰球不是送球，不过到现在
也没有搞到送的感觉
有一点大家都说的很对，平常练球要多化时间在SHORT-GAME上。我一直基本没怎么练
LONG-GAME，但在场上LONG-GAME发挥反倒比总练的SHORT-GAME好。

发帖数: 4031 | 12 可以理解，三推的感觉特别不好受。虽然我也没法完全摆脱三推。我一般开局好，下面
比较难的洞，像是这210码的，就想冒险。往往是结果不好。像我们这些有家口的人，
每个礼拜练球的时间，就那么多，多练了短杆，练其它干的时间就少了。我短杆进步了
，长杆开球的距离可越来越近了。还是要综合一下练习的时间。
至于推杆的改进，如果场地比较熟，我短打时，尽量让球落在能从下坡往上推，还一个
是，推的时候重点控制球速，争取球停在，坡下，两三尺之内，期望是两杆推进。
