we played at the san ramon golf course. it pretty much reminded me some golf
courses in Ventury Country,
California.
aff joined us at back 9.
since i don't have car and also i guess you guys would like to sit home to
watch the us open. i didn't call

，一点就可以打上了。这场子基本从来不会back up，pace和质量都跟country club差不
多。

so you bought membership and u still pay $60 for twilight?
i can pay $3000/year and pay (cart fee if I want ) nothing to play two
country clubs golf courses in Ventura
country from Sunday to Saturday.
I know there are some rich chinese folks (I heard more than 100 people)
playing Sunday tournament regularly
in orange county. they play the skins game. it's a good way to save money
since they have the group discount,
I believe.

$60 per round after 1pm on weekends
one free round anytime
we did the math and figured it's actually pretty good deal if we play 5 roun
ds or more. I think we are going to play at least 10--20 rounds this year.

i know some courses offer $1500/year in bay area (sunnyvale or san jose or
fremont, I heard of it from my
friend). it's kind "all you can play" deal. u have anytime tee time for free
if you don't rent a car.
sure the course won't be that decent , and it could be overcrowded tho.
or sometime u pay $3000/ year for the kind of deal. the course would be
better. since it's a bit expensive,
it won't be too crowded.
as far as the money is saving, it depends on how many

courses in NY/NJ as well.
one of the best golf resorts in Austin, Barton Creek, offers 72-hole golf
course with $80,000 membership (or
$40,000, refundable). we can even do installment (new payment method since
last year).

it is good that finally got chance to play togather.
maybe next time, we can play the full 18-hole.
your short game is very impressive.
i noticed that all the good players have very solid short game. but that is
my weakest link of my game now. I played courses on Monday, short game was
horrible. it was common that using 4 strokes to get to hole from less than
50 yards.

我开球铁杆不好，就看short game/putting好。
都一样。这就是为什么你觉得你开球好的时候铁杆就好，或者2个都好的时候，putting
就不好之类。
short game这玩意需要耐心。可惜short game都发生在一个long game没打好的时候，所
以有这耐心那就可要多少经验呀。

第18洞的tee shot可以说是我和他肩并肩的比较，用他的driver. 我们球都落在同一个
spot,他的球超过我的球一个feet长。

再加上整个都不练。我的pars基本上也都是靠short game saved。 加上丢球什么的，估
计就是个high 80的成绩。

那玩意挥起来club head 和shaft kick感觉不consistent.
打golf，需要耐心，需要心静，也需要focus.
focus这个是那些pros和普通人比较大的区别。 pro Randy 从甩掉烟头起，基本上任何
人就不和他
讲话了。如果有人在之中和他讲话， 他的动作就是要从扔掉烟头起重做一遍了。
