| d***t 发帖数: 210 | 3 depending on where you are...but 80 rounds? that's a lot.
5hrs per round, you've got 10 work weeks on the course. | A*f 发帖数: 3067 | 4 * $30?
where can you get those deals for courses slope around 130 or above?

| A*f 发帖数: 3067 | 5 so you play every weekend, (that is not alot), you got 50 rounds.
and if you play some weekdays, say, every other week, you play a non-weekend
round, you got another 30 rounds.

| v*****r 发帖数: 2325 | 6 funny yesterday we were discussing the same topic...
if play each weekend, about 50, average green fee,say 25, 1250 bucks,
plus gas and etc.
1400
0.5 hour drive, 0.3 hour warmup, 4.5 hour play, 0.5 hour drive back
5.8 hour * 50 = 290 hours
290hour / 8 = 36 days
man, striking number....
i just played 3 + 0.5*3 = 4.5 rounds this year.... average green fee 28+ 19
+ 0 + 9 + 9 + 10 = 75
but i feel like to play at least half round from now on...
25 * 0.5 * 25 = 310 more to go...

| v*****r 发帖数: 2325 | 11 i am still a bit puzzled to max out longer club...
i have no problem hit 8i to 160 (last week play hit that distance with nice
high trajectory), but not yet routine 250 or not even 240 for driver yet.
5i 170 yard, didn't feel swing very good on that one. feels that hitting
longer club with designated distance should come with very good precision...
a bit off, the distance loss is very substantial...
Aff--- how did your driver go from routine 230 to routine 250+, any tips
?

| v***s 发帖数: 4031 | 12 I used to have a similar problem like yours for my driver. I could hit one
of my irons a distance I was comfortable with. When hitting my then driver,
I averagely hit it 220 to 230 yards, even though occasionally I could hit a
shot 50 yards more.

| A*f 发帖数: 3067 | 13 well, it was very simple (relatively) for me.
i didnt have fairway woods at that time, so, i hit every tee with my driver.
the more you hit, and better you master that club.
my first birdie from 18-hole course, was from a 196 par3, which i tee off with
my driver two years ago. looks like laughable now, but that was my only
option, since i need carry 180 over water.
after a while, i read most of ppl could reach 220, 230 with 3wood, then i
start to use 3wood. play woods and driver side by side, yo
