Can someone share your experience of fighting strong wind and playing low
shots? Also I want to know what distance do you get when play a low shot, i
mean, relative to your regular distance of the same club.

excellent game.
He shot 73 to win Medal . (about $40).
I talked before that nowadays, pros hit low for short irons, hit high for
long iron. Mainly they control distance better.
How low did Mike hit? it was like my height for some distance, say, within
130 yards
I am practicing this kind of low shot in these two days. the good news is,
the wind in these days does help me to practice.

reduce the loft. do you place your hands closer to your left foot? kind of
like a squeeze shot?

i don't think i do the deloft thing either. it's just like i don't take full
advantage of the club face loft.
i don't do something special on my left hand, except that i use my back of
my left hand (back of my left hand) leads the ball flight.
想象你左手的手背，就是你的球杆面，如果你的手背方向，是沿着地面的，球大概也就
沿着地面；如果手背向天，球也就向天飞。
我是从Tiger Woods里学到的这个方法，很有用。
现在的选手，他们不仅让球飞得低，而且球还停的快，基本上就是一个hop,就停了。
这个是deloft球杆面做不出来的 。

use longer club (lower loft), grip down, stand closer and swing easily
other methods like back ball position and flatter swing, can only be
perfected by lots practice, which essentially requires you carry 2 sets of swings on the course | p***t
发帖数: 51 | 7 ET, i think your appraoch belongs to the advanced level. It's kind of a feel
thing. It should take quite some practice to perfect. For me, I want to
keep "one swing for all" shots, exactly as the following post said. I do not
think I can manage multiple swings yet, and I rarely want my ball flight to
be low. Strong wind is rare, after all.
It is actually funny. I have been a low-flight ball striker for quite a long
time, which always accomanied with hook or draw. My major improvement in
2008 was

by swing easy. Actually ball position did not lead me to top the ball,
swing too hard did ...

发帖数: 3067 | 9 i watched "swing with Tiger" or "tee off with Tiger", something like that,
form golf channel, in which, Tiger were talking about the three different
swings, and he was learning it from his father, which he was little.
his father was trying to tell him to use different percentage of strength to
hit different shots, but since tiger was too young to understand whats the
40% of your full swing meant, his father then taught him to use waist,
shoulder head, three different places for his swing finish.

like Tiger said, his father taught him to how to hit low when he was like 11
year-old something.
the concept is the same. hit -ball low <-- finish low
still, you have to be able to hit balls solid.
