if u topped ur ball, so sure ur ball wont' go higher.
don't pratice until you could find some good players on the range, watch
their playing for a while, and try to emulate their swing.
i guess it's the best thing i can suggest.

Usually, 7 iron has a loft of 37 degree, the perfect ball trajectory for a 7
iron is supposed t be 37 degree.However, there is no such thing called
perfect.
how far? depends on the players capability. Golfdiget surveys shows more
than 80% golf players claim their 7 irons go as far as 150 yards, however,
the measured average is 135 yards.
150-yard is still a reasonable distance for you and me. For pros, we really
