I am writing to you about the show named Kids Table - Government shut down
from Jimmy Kimmel Live that was aired on October 16, 2013.
It was suggested by one of the children that killing all Chinese would solve
the debt problem for the US, and EVERYONE including the host Mr. Kimmel was
laughing about it. This is distasteful to everyone who respect life and I
believe to deliver such message via public TV is not acceptable.
I am a naturalized citizen originally from China. And I am a mother. So I
know kids may not know better. They learn from adults and often they are
the mirror of adults. I certainly can’t imagine that any kid says that to
my daughter in school and how hurtful my daughter would be.
I would encourage your assistance to send ABC a message that such comment
and so called joke needs to be corrected and a formal apology must be issued
by ABC and Jimmy Kimmel to ALL of its viewers, not just those who are
Chinese. All parties, people from different culture and background should
come together to make our country stronger. We will pay off the debt to
China and that is the respectful thing to do.

前段时间大热的,看完之后非常惊讶，居然是写给teenager 看的。
然后现在电视里居然杀人当玩笑来播出。
记得小时候很生人气的时候，最多说一句，找个人把你打一顿，就很解气了，要杀人是
需要多么大的仇恨啊。 |
