Dr. Ray Chen is an Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer
Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, and holds the Cullen Trust
for Higher Education Endowed Professorship in Engineering.
Chen is the director of the Nanophotonics and Optical Interconnects Research
Lab, at the Microelectronics Research Center. He is also the director of
the newly formed AFOSR MURI-Center for Silicon Nanomembrane involving
faculty from Stanford, UIUC, Rutgers, and UT Austin.
