Guess it should be the same for different hospitals. You should have filled
a form before you left hospital and should receive an unofficial "
confirmation of birth" from the hospital within 2-3 weeks. Then you need to
send it and the copy of your photo id to the Georgia Vital Records to
require an official certificate before your baby's 1st bday.
