LeBron explains why he’s still a Yankees fan, even though he’s pulling for
the Indians

Despite his roots in northeast Ohio, LeBron James didn’t grow up an Indians
fan. And while he’s pulling for Cleveland in the World Series, he
explained Monday that he’s still a Yankees fan.
“I’m a supporter,” James said, according to the New York Post. “I’m a
supporter of winners. As a kid growing up, I needed inspiration to get out
of the situation I was in. I loved the Bulls, Cowboys and loved the Yankees.
Those are winning franchises. I liked them because they gave me hope of
being a winner. That’s part of the reason I loved those teams but I
definitely support what the Indians are doing right now.”
In 2007, LeBron caused a minor stir by wearing a Yankees hat to a playoff
game against the Indians in Cleveland. The Indians won that series but lost
to the Red Sox in the ALCS.

I think queen James should read some of these comments...because of him and
his big mouth....made a lot of people root against the Indians...so now you
can jump off the band wagon and go back to rooting for the Yankees.

Okay, I get it...He lives in Cleveland and should support the home town, but
let's not kid ourselves, he was pandering. A year ago this guy wore a
Yankees cap...anything to get Cleveland fans to forgive... |
