Joey Bosa will not report to Chargers camp on Friday
SAN DIEGO -- San Diego Chargers first-round draft pick, defensive end Joey
Bosa, will not report with his teammates Friday as he remains unsigned,
according to a source close to Bosa.
The No. 3 overall pick and the Chargers are haggling over offset language
and the schedule of when bonus money would be paid, with the latter issue
being most pressing, the source said. Bosa wants his guaranteed bonuses
sooner rather than later, whereas the Chargers prefer to pay out the bonuses
over a period of time, according to the source.
The Chargers begin training camp workouts Saturday morning. | t***u
