Eagles和Steelers建队于同一年，1933年，他们的funding owners同时也是多年的朋友
。在NFl-AFL合并之前，两队之间打了65次比赛。在1943年，Eagles和Steelers还短暂
的合为一队，名为Steagles。两队之间还流淌着彼此的血液，如今的Eagles曾经是久远
之前的Steelers。如今的Steelers也曾经是多年前的Eagles。
钢人是NFL的豪门，至今拿到6次巨碗，是NFL巨碗时代最强的NFL球队。钢人由Rooney家
族建立. 1933年，Art Rooney创建了Steelers。Steelers开始的名字是Pirates。In
1940， Art changed the team name to Steelers. In 2008， Rooney families
diluted their shares in Steelers but they still maintain the majority
control of the organization. 但是多年以前，曾经在很短的时间，Steelers were
not with Rooney families at all. 并且现在的Steelers是曾经的Eagles。The same
goes to Eagles.
Steelers建立初期，境遇惨淡，Steelers lost 75% of games they played.几年之后
，Art Rooney慢慢地心灰意冷。1940年，Rooney把钢人卖给了Alexis Thompson。卖了
钢人后，Rooney立刻买了Philadelphia Eagles。Eagles' then owner was Bert Bell.
Bell和Rooney是多年的朋友。
卖了钢人买了Eagles后，Rooney并没有打算离开Pittsburgh. 他打算在Thompson把
Steelers移走后，把一半儿的Eagles的比赛移到Pittsburgh。过了几个月，Thompson还
没有做出移走钢人的计划，同时Rooney也开始后悔卖掉了钢人。Rooney和Bell就开始联
系Thompson重做交易。1941年4月3号，Rooney，Bell和Thompson同意交换钢人和Eagles
。Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles swapped their teams entirely， on both
the organization level and the team personnel level。In effect, Eagles
became Steelers and Steelers became Eagles.
所以钢人和Eagles见面之时可以短暂的晕乎一下，搞不清楚自己和对方是谁:-)
当然这不是NFL的唯一SWAP。1972年，当时的Baltimore Colts和当时的Los Angeles
Rams（Rams当时就是Los Angeles Rams，后变成St. Louis Rams，现在2016年又变回
Los Angeles Rams) 曾经完成了一次SWAP。不同的是Colts-Rams Swap只交换了球队管
理层，队员并没有变化。 |

Colts在超级碗III输给了Jets，全队上下憋了两年劲，结果跟Cowboys打了一场非常难
看的失误大战，很多当事人说赢得不爽。MVP更不爽——输家Cowboys的linebacker

During lunch with NFL commissioner Pete Rozelle in 1966, Tiffany & Co. vice
president Oscar Riedner made a sketch on a cocktail napkin of what would
become the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The original trophy was produced by
Tiffany & Co. in Newark, New Jersey. Others have since been handcrafted by
the company in Parsippany, New Jersey. The trophy was first awarded to the
Green Bay Packers in 1967 (when the Super Bowl's official designation was
the AFL-NFL World Championship Game) after they defeated the Kansas City
Chiefs 35-10.
想想看，平行宇宙里Tom Landry带队拿下I,II （都在championship game与packers拼
到最后一个play）,V（对Colts），X（差四分）、VI、XII、XIII（差四分），此杯直
接改名Tom Landry Trophy，也就没有Jerry Jones什么事了

发帖数: 832 | 9 感谢林彪. 在他死之前近40年钢人一共6个winning season进过1次季后赛. 这战绩连布
朗笨狗的failure乘起来都不敢想. 他们的胜率在21世纪之前都是负的. 2001季的13-3
帮他们拉到了448-449, 2002季的10-5才帮他们解套成458-454. |

后来好像改了章程
队主可以随意玩弄奖杯 但必须留在球队里 不能送人
卖了球队之后也不能顺手带走 有使用权没有占有权
牛仔红皮都彻底转手了
但每次开忆苦思甜会的时候 还是能把全部奖杯摆出来

since the funding of the team and have two Super Bowl wins, Tom Landry可能没
有想到他会被新owner炒掉。And the coach replacing him got another two Super
Bowl wins for Dallas. 有说法说这是因为Jones outspent other teams.

另外Jones和Johnson第一个签就点了Troy Aikman做状元，又把队里唯一的球星
Herschel Walker换了5个老兵加8个选秀权，当年摆了个1-15，转过年选了Emmitt
Smith。Irvin+Aikman+Smith三个future HOF外加几乎弹无虚发的选秀与交易，球队很
快起来了

就过世有关。平行宇宙太美好，可能还难以有Tom Landry杯:-)

发帖数: 4110 | 21 Vince Lombardi和Tom Landry也算是一时瑜亮，they both worked under HC Jim
Howell in 1954-1959 and helped Giants get a NFL（PRE-MERGE）Championship.
Lombardi worked like a "OC" and Landry worked like a "DC". Giants was a
launching pad for both of them to start their respective great NFL coaching
career. After that, Landry landed Cowboys and Lombardi got to Packers. One
was at its infancy (actually being conceived to be exact) and the other was
at the darkest age (Packers went though a rough patch). They brought them up
to dominance respectively.
