Summarizing my first-time experience as a Seahawks fan @ Levi's Stadium
after the thanksgiving match between Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco
49ers:
1. It is a very good sized stadium for watching a football game. It is a
bit small but there is literally no bad seats here. In CLink, the nosebleed
seats can be pretty bad. And tix are a lot cheaper in SF bay area. About
half of what I am expected to pay in Seattle.
2. QUIET and DEAD. The stadium tried to do so much to cheer up the fans but
nobody gives a f***. The screen keeps showing "Be Louder", etc. Very few
people reacts. To be honest, the atmosphere feels more like a baseball game
than a football game to me. Even the least important game I went to @
Clink, which was vs. Titans, had WAYYYY better atmosphere than this.
3. Some fans are rude. You have 9er's fans harassing 12s by asking them "
hey, who is the QB before Russell Wilson?". And ever since before the game
started, constant player name calling and stuff like "Fuck Seattle" all over
the place. Not saying there is no such kinda fan in Seattle. But it was
definitely more prevalent here. It feels like those fans care more about
hating the other team than liking their own team. More about that later.
4. There was this die hard 9ers' fan, definitely a season tix holder, at the
first row. He kept standing up when there were important plays. And he
kept trying to get other 9er fans into cheering for the home team. Guess
what happened. The other 9er fans behind him called security complaining he
stand up too much and it is blocking their view… I remembered so many
games @ Clink that you hardly ever sit down and people are totally cool with
it. This guy later turned back and started to talk to us about what is the
situation about standing up in Seattle. We were like, the seat is
definitely optional, especially in an important game like this. And people
are cool with it.
5. Boo'ing their own team, especially Colin Kaepernick. Since the first INT
, fans start to boo Colin Kaepernick. And so many "F*** Colin Kaepernick"
after the 2nd INT. And they even boo their own team offensive team when
they simply walked into the field. Fact they didn't have a good game, but
it is always horrible that the home fans start to boo their own team. Me
and my wife and two other 12 sitting next to us were so amazed by this.
Seems like we don't need to do it ourselves any more.
6. Leaving early. Just when you feel that their home fan can't be worse,
people start to leave when there was still a quarter left and they were only
down by 16… And the other side of the field is almost empty when it was
the last quarter. Remind me of the "Heat fans" during 13' finals. | G**Y

发帖数: 13310 | 3 I disagree on 5 and 6. The Mariners' way of cuddling athletic adults is
wrong.
If after booed by your own fans, the players still don't show any heart,
then they don't
deserve support. Any 49ers players laughing on the sideline when the score
was 19-3
should be released. It's that simple to turn things around. The fundamental
difference
between Seahawks and 49ers are some bad apples in 49ers have been
consistently tolerated.
Similarly, if only a small percent of the players are playing hard, fans
shouldn't waste
their time watching such an ugly show on a holiday night.
