and how they won, 07 Giants are in a good position of the history book.
However, 00 Ravens and 02 Bucs are among the all time great, certainly
higher than 08 Stealers and 10 Packers.
09 Saints won some glory for that pick6 against PM. However, PM added a lot
of weight to SB48, too. I bet 10 years from now, whenever any strange plays
happen in SB, people will compare those with this botched snap. And unless
PH somehow gets notorious for murder, people will keep talking how an
injured FA had touched the ball almost zero times for the whole season
before returning a kickoff TD to officially break Broncos' back. Yes, if RW
indeed enjoys a glorious career, people will also keep mentioning he broke
the all time record of most wins in the first 2 seasons in this game.
ps: If those records Broncos broke stay intact for 10 or even 20 years,
what do you think people will say about this blowout?

But to fans -- non-paritial fans, like me -- I really won't remember it as
much as a closely contested game. I will remember Seattle's historically
good defense dominated the historically good offense, but the game was over
before the 1st beer was.
Pats over Rams in 2001 had most of the elements you described: a defensive-
minded team stiffing a historically great offense, starting a dynasty for
the team and an all-time-great career for the 2nd-year QB. But the reason
that game was a classic (again, to regular fans) was also becuase it was
decided as time expired, and frankly, the added controversy later on.
Simply put, other teams' GMs and coaches will no doubt re-watch this game
again and again with a greater interest than many other Super Bowl games,
but i am not sure many other teams' fans will do the same.
I shall say no more on this matter.

stay are only pieces of the games. Besides Vxxx finished the FG, do you even
remember the details of TB's last drive? Talking about " a defensive minded
team stiffing a historically great offense", which is more memorable,
beating a low key NFCW team with a FG vs. a stunning domination over PM? If
Pats had a halmet-catch like Giants did before the FG, then the 01 SB would
have raised to another level. There have been many SB ending within the last
2 minutes. We can even say a lot within the last 10 years. How many started
with a botched snap by a first ballot HOFer leading a "historical offense"?
Among the all time great, people alwasy talk about 85 bears. Who did they
beat in SB? Now can you see what's special about this game?
ps: I like that Rams team, but they just couldn't grab the same attention as
PM for whatever reason.
