explicitly would invite a law suit, and I doubt any NFL -- or even college
-- team will hire Williams even if and when he is reinstated by Goodell ...

sport that rewards violence and touts athletes who can deliver punishment
to others. And when they do, they get compensated handsomely with large
contracts and commercial endorsements. So indirectly, the league is doing
the exact same thing the Saints are doing, except when the Saints do it in
an ever so indiscreet manner, they get their heads chewed off. Another
instance of "do as I say not as I do", I guess. |
