My comment: The report is a good read. But what surprises me is terrace 梯田
, which I did not know exist in US. The report mentions terrace twice.
(a) photo caption: "Bill Hammitt on his farm near Portsmouth, Iowa, where he

curb soil erosion.
(b) The text: "In addition, farmers using modern supersize tractors, built
