发帖数: 105 | 1 Recently visited the Twin Cities, stopped by a Dick’s and saw a DAIWA
fishing combo on sale for $59.99 with $20.00 off the original price. I
almost bought it but gave up eventually since my old fishing rod was working
fine at that time.
Then, 4 days ago, my reel broke and the reel handle fell into the river. I
had a reason to buy a new set of gears. Being a penny pincher, I went to
Wal-mart and bought a Matzuo combo (rod: MZ-6621MSP; reel: MZ-430A) and it
cost me $29.99. I immediately liked it.
With the new rod, I went to the river 4 times this past week and had so much
fun. Here is a list of fishes I caught. Except the crappies on the rope and
the large deep gut hooked walleye, the rest were immediately released on
the spot. I usually do not take fish home. I gave the walleye to a strange
Chinese fellow who was fishing beside me.
My set up: rod and reel as mentioned above, 8 lb mono, 1/8 – 1/16 oz jig
and 2” Berkley Power grubs. I don’t think it is due to my “excellent
fishing skills”, but rather believe it is the time and location together
helped me to land those fishes. |

dawai的杆子不错，但轮子很坑爹，不如ugly stick的
我也一直用便宜杆，不过，试了一下别人的好杆
发现距离仍远了，位置也准确很多
主要是轮子，出线润滑度跟速度
当然，我相信用了这么多年便宜杆，也让我得到了真正的锻炼

打算明年春天买根好一点的

The large walleye was deep gutted. It was caught around 8:40 pm, and the
photo was not clear.
