I passed a pond
in a cool morning
with the mist rising off the water.
I waited for the sun to start
hitting the colorful trees.
At the same moment, I realized
the autumn has come.
You see.
The leaves are starting to change.
Vibrant colors of red, orange and yellow
are slowly replacing the shade of life.
Summer’s green hue is fading away.
I wish I could be a fish
so that I could live in that pond.
If I were a fish living in that pond,
How much would I like to use my life to exchange
for keeping the autumn here for ever! |
