对这个饵很感兴趣，网上搜了一下历史。

wiggle wart是storm出的一个crankbait，在bass和salmon里面很popular。
1999年storm被rapala买了，rapla觉得wiggle wart做的很土，就把模子全给销毁了，
然后自己照着样子做了一套模子，基本上就是只用原来的名字。没想到做的样子像，
action差很多。市场很差。就停产了。
有个人叫brad，他手上有几个原来storm的wiggle wart，就发样品到中国去仿制，取名
叫brad's wiggle. 仿制的结果虽然比原先的差，但是比rapala的好多了，wiggle wart
的市场被他包了。rapala一看这个市场不小，于是重新又开始生产，就是现在的storm
original wiggle wart。
无论rapala现在的wart还是brad's wart， 都比99年的wart差，但是99年的模子已经被
砸了，现在不能仿制出完全一样的了。所以现在ebay上的99年wart都跟邮票一样，一枚
10几块，颜色好的上$50也很多，比megabass还要贵，而且比邮票还不一样，邮票不会
挂，这个挂了就没了。所以你发现哪家小店有存货，赶紧全包了在ebay上卖。怎么分辨
99年的wart网上有，基本就是压水板下面刻了“wiggle wart”。 如果还刻上“lz 威
武”，那就更贵了，得上千。

When Rapala bought out the Storm Lure Company in 1999 the molds that were
used for all Storm model lures were old and needed to be replaced. Rapala
decided to re-envent the wheel. They destroyed the molds and came out with
their own version of Storm Lures. These are the yellow boxed lures with the
plastic top. The only trouble with these is the lips were very thin and when
hit by a salmon or steelhead they broke off. The fish got the lure and you
got the lip back minus the plug and the fish. These were a very poor attempt
at lure making and a marketing nightmare for Rapala.
Then Brads came along and went to China and had his lures made. These came
from different molds and are weighted differently than the old Pre Rapala
Storm lures. Bards pretty much had all of the market on Warts until Rapala
decided to get back in the Wart business. They also went to China to have
their New Origional Series warts made. They have a lot of the old Storm
colors but a totally different lure. Who knows both Brads and Rapala warts
may come from the same factory?
The only ones who really know which lures are the best are the fish and the
last I heard they weren't talking.
I fish the Old Pre Rapala Storm Warts ( red and blue lable) because I
collect them and have a life time supply but I've seen many Springers hooked
on Brads and the New Storms.
Put a lure on and throw it in the water and decide for your self. If it
works and you hook a fish that's the one you'll get a little tingle from
when you take it out of your tackle box next time and remember the last fish
you caught with your new favorite lure. |

发帖数: 2619 | 2 I can assure you that Brads didn't buy Storms old Wart molds. Rapala being
the largest lure producer in the world never sells anything after they buy
out a company. They destroy everything they don't want.
When Rapala bought out the Storm family they didn't buy the property or the
buildings just the contents. They took the Name and the sellable inventory
and hauled it away. The rest went by the truck load be incinerated. All the
records and files and bins of lures gone up in smoke.
With the no compete in hand they made sure the Storm family would never
produce another lure.
This information came from a member of the Storm family. I have a large
collection of many kinds of lures Storm produced. I just wish the files and
records were available so we would know what color of each lure were
produced. Different lure colors pop up every now and then but no one will
ever know for sure what they all are. Rapala made sure of that.
If Brads had the old Storm molds they wouldn't have had to go to China to
have their lures made and the lures would be exactly like the old Storm
lures which we know they are not.
I guess I just like the the Old (Made in USA) Storm Lures best. |

发帖数: 2619 | 4 新旧wart样子其实没什么差别，action不同据人说是因为用的塑料不一样，以及工艺不
同。
99版是2瓣塑料中间合上，新的是一片整塑料。
