launch fee is $10 for motor boat including motor kayak,
$3 for unmotored kayak.

you can move it freely to any place where you can easily launch?
it is still difficult to move a 12 feet kayak without much trouble, isn't it?
some water such as state lake, reservoir, may require not only launch fee,
but also lake permit(about $20 a.n.).
some water has definite rule: no launching except at launch site.
if you launch your kayak at a place other than launch site,
park ranger or conservation office will catch you and giv

carrier to your car. so you need to tie your kayak to something at the bank
to avoid its floating away. you may walk very long to return your carrier
because you don't park at the parking lot nearby the ramp.
another solution is to tie your carrier to a tree using a lock.
second, your kayak is too big to be good for launching at any place other
than launching ramp. sometime, you will break your kayak.
