Vinny reports action on Wednesday was dead as you would expect with a summer
like day in Montauk and west winds. However just as you would also expect,
the NE winds that were blowing late last night and early Thursday (10/5)
morning that greeted surfcasters at first light, also meant a ton of bass
showed in the Montauk surf. These fish were larger than earlier in the week
and were all cookie cutter fish of 32 to 34 inches and taking pencil poppers

。我准备明天早上去看看。回来再给大家汇报一下具体情况。
Nothing happening this afternoon into the evening. Water has cleared up
since this morning, stiff wind, more of a ESE on the southside, 3 to 4' surf
. Talked with a few rats, nothing doing all day, north or south. One
suggested that it's still a nightime bite. There were blues working from
east to Kings this AM, other than that nada. Tight lines...
Fished from noon Wed to noon today. Saw a few fish yesterday, one keeper
