example, we have 2 ipods,1 pad, 8 desktops at home. One of the ipod has a
little black dot on the screen, he bought Andriod nexus 10 last December
without telling me. He also likes to buy expensive pants and shoes around
100$ each pair himself. He always think he is rich and he deserves good
stuff. He earns around 80k per year, I earn 60k, we have two kids and one
large house loan, we hardly have a few thousand dollars savings each year.
There is no way I can convince him to save money. I feel he and me are so
different in many ways. We have a joint account, but he just buy things
whenever he wants. I feel unbalanced and depressed.I love my kids, they are
very cute, that is the main focus of my life now.
Any suggestions for this case? | t**d

marriage work. It sounds to me you just have very different spending habits
and it's not necessarily his fault, you two are simply different, talk to a
professional will help. | l*****n

1. many people here dislike interracial marriages, ignore their opinion.
2. when you say your husband spends too much money on himself, does he also
spend money on you or the children? that makes the biggest difference in the
world.
3. assuming your husband treats the children well, maybe he just needs a
little help managing money; that is far better than being with a cheap man

although in a different way. He just does not consider price when buying
things, so we end up with almost no savings even though both of us earn
relatively decent amount. I would like to save some money for the kids when
they go to college, he thinks they can get loans when needed. We are just so
different...I am thinking about having separate accounts, but it may cause
more arguments about who pays what...
We had marriage therapy for some other issues when we just got married. I
think therapy offers some opportunities for you to talk about the problems
not necessary solutions to the problems, it is not much different from
talking online like this. The main problem is that we are really busy now
with two little kids and work, hardly have any time... | d********f
