(I would emphasize my independence, competence, and out-of-their-reach
status to counteract that and earn respect and friendship.) Some still
expects to flirt, which sours the friendship or even offends me. If I don't
tell, then they would not act like mere friends and expect more totally
undeserving which is still unpleasant and annoying.
It is quite normal and necessary for a career woman to socialize freely
despite her gender. Boyfriend status on the other hand, needs to be earned
and nurtured... Or maybe I have just been too friendly which gives some low
EQ guys the wrong idea since guys tend to sexualize everything!? | e******g

keep away from those who know nothing other than fucking around. It is not

knowing me dating another and tried to break us up or start to talk
sarcastically. I got offended and things turned sour after that. It was
really not a problem I can solve, but it just seems epidemic. I can pick up
new male friends all the time (and probably ask them to do anything if I
want), but the friendship gets sour from time to time...... Eventually, they
seem to come around and accept the status quo though......

我好朋友的妈妈, 简直就是男人之友. 她下乡年代的朋友,好几个男的(没有单独接触的

友没有，当年最好的那个被我发展成老公了。但是有一个闺蜜lala。大部分的比较要好
的男性朋友，我们都是以家庭为单位交往的。让你觉得不舒服的男人，不要理就是了，
归根结底我还是比较珍惜和女人之间的友谊，男人的友谊有没有无所谓吧，他们能懂我
们多少呢。

I think this kind of friendship is pure and has no stress on each other.
I would be more than happy to share deep conversations, have a short trip (
eg, going somewhere to have a feast and enjoy the view), or go to concert
with this friend. This kind of interaction is much more enjoyable than other
stuff to me.
But problem for this kind of friendship is - you got to find the right
person with similar values, objectives, hobbies, or even lifestyle.
