女的24,男的26,已经做到investment firm顶层了。
这女的真厉害,男的真傻。
A Manhattan party girl says her investor hubby is threatening to post
steamy sex videos of her online if she doesn't accept a lowball divorce
settlement, court papers say.
Lily Shang, 24, has asked a judge to stop soon-to-be ex-husband David
Rucker from releasing the raunchy tapes, which supposedly show the
couple having sex in their swanky former Battery Park City pad.
Rucker told Shang he would edit himself out of the videos and make them
public - unless the sexy brunette plays ball in divorce negotiations,
according to the filing in Manhattan Supreme Court.
The accused bedroom auteur, who manages a downtown investment firm, says
he'd never release the salacious footage.
"That would damage me, since I actually have a career," Rucker, 26, told
the Daily News in an exclusive interview, taking a shot at his club-
hopping wife.
"It's almost comical," he said.
Rucker, a top-dog at Golden Archer Investments, said Shang refuses to
even answer his calls about a possible divorce settlement. "She's just
trying to make me look bad," he said.
In one of their last conversations, Shang asked Rucker to hand over some
"intimate" images of her, he says.
But Rucker says he's not sure whether the pics or videos - made in March
2009 and February 2010 - are still on his computer.
"I don't even know what's still on my hard drive," he said.
Shang's lawyer declined to comment.
The beauty's globetrotting life has taken her from Canada's elite
political circles to Manhattan's glitziest clubs.
She moved from her native Toronto to New York after college to pursue a
career on Wall Street, said a friend.
Sparks flew when she met the chromed-domed Rucker.
"Lily had big dreams, and she admired David's determination to make it
in the financial world," said the friend, who did not want her name
used.
"She wanted the kind of life he had. But they were very different
people."
The couple married in Toronto in April 2009 and filed for divorce 18
months later.
Shang, a regular at clubs in the Meatpacking District, is a "very
glamorous girl who rich men naturally gravitate to," the friend said.
On a blog Shang kept from 2005 to 2006, she described her life as one
"filled with glamorous parties, beautiful friends, money, politics, and
a burning ambition to become something more."
While volunteering on the campaign of Canada's Liberal Party leader, she
learned that wearing "electric-blue suede pumps, a miniskirt, a blue
sweater and Gucci bag can get you enough credibility credibility with
the Conservative camp to flirt your way into finding out their numbers
two days before the election," she wrote in 2006.
Shang said she learned plenty of lessons when her parents split.
"Truth is relative," she wrote of divorce. "It's all or nothing. No one
is innocent." |
