In the rapidly changing environment of the 21st century, there is an

The Bioscience and Biomedical Engineering Thrust https://hkustゞz.edu.cn/

HKUST(GZ) now invites applications for multiple tenure﹖rack faculty
positions at all ranks (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor).
Although applications from outstanding individuals in any area of life
sciences
and bioengineering will be considered, the Thrust especially encourages
applications in neuroscience, stem cell biology, cell and tissue engineering
, and computational biology. The Thrust is expected to grow substantially in
the next few years in terms of academic staff, programs, resources, and
facilities.
Applicants must have a PhD degree in relevant fields. The appointees are
expected to establish an independent and internationally competitive
research program. Teaching responsibilities include postgraduate and
undergraduate courses.
Founded in 1991 as the first research university in Hong Kong, HKUST
consistently ranks among the top 50 universities in the world and the world
’s best young university in Times Higher Education and QS ranking. HKUST(GZ
) is situated in the center of the Guangdong〩ong Kong㎝acau Greater Bay
Area, one of the most vibrant and dynamic regions in the world. Teaching and

that is rich in technical resources. English is the medium of instruction.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service:
Salary is highly competitive of international standard and will be
commensurate with qualifications and experience. Generous start﹗p funding,
ample laboratory space, and excellent research equipment and support will be
provided.
All posts are tenure﹖rack Mainland China appointments to be offered by the
HKUST Mainland entity in accordance with the local employment laws and
regulations. Appointment at Professor rank and some at Associate Professor
rank will be made on substantive basis while initial appointment to other 7
Jan 2022
tenure﹖rack faculty ranks will be made on a 3﹜ear contract, renewable
subject to mutual agreement.
