“整”之前全部上交到内部网里。Then they can take "their time" reviewing
everything, checking the budget (Yes, I make the budget myself, as well as
filling all the application forms; I know all the institutional codes and
regulations), asking for signatures and approvals from people who should NOT
have anything to do with my grant, having the associate dean occasionally
calling me to say "could you please pay more from your grant and ask less
from our college to support your students?"
And then they submit it right on the deadline or a day before that... |

就行。你让你们系主任帮你联系你们的副校长of research就行

才最后提交，上次系统自动查出错误，可被吓的够呛，因为就离deadline 1小时。 |

发帖数: 4671 | 15 竟然现实中真有这样的事情。。。我们这里是提前两周交所有材料，但是 scientific
session只用交 place holder 就可以。LOS 和 Specific Aims，Research Approach，
Reference 在deadline 当天早晨九点前交给小秘正式版，九点半前发给我link，要我
检查并且在十点前approve，剩下的就不用管了。之前的那个系，是deadline当天下午
一点前就可以，最晚曾经3点半才给他们。
虽然我总是提前十天就把一个可以提交的版本给秘书，但是collaborators总会在最后
一分钟还在发修改版给我。

我们这种小学校巴不得你多投。
我有一次忘了一个due date，直到前一天晚上outlook提醒才知道， 当时还在出差。抱
着死马当活马医的想法due date早上8点打电话给pre-award，没想到他们居然马上就同
意做了。然后一直电话email保持联系，我集中精力修改了一个试了几次没中的
proposal，小米几个小时走完全部内部流程，准时投出。 分数很差，结果却中了，完
全因为program完全切合。错过这个special program，肯定中不了。
从此我对我们小米充满 了敬意！

我们学校的office of sponsored research都是靠裙带关系混进去的大爷大妈，不故意
给我们PI使绊子，我就谢天谢地了。我两年前有一个proposal，在deadline之前三十分
钟才投出去，就因为他们把indirect cost算错了，怎么也通不过系统自动检测，后来
还是我们几个PI群策群力把数字弄对了。
