The editorial team recognizes that there was certainly interest in the work
presented here, but there were too many unanswered questions and major
concerns from several referees for us to proceed with the paper. If you feel
that Science Translational Medicine is truly where you would like to try to
publish this paper, we would be willing to consider a substantially revised
paper that addresses the reviewer comments, especially Reviewer 5.
reviewer说的问题似乎都是一些很细节的技术问题（reviewer 5特别负面，有几个
reviewer给的意见非常的小，就是修改一下文字），我们加实验似乎可以解决（有一个
大的问题，需要特殊实验室设备，我们没法做），但是估计至少几个月甚至半年挣扎。
小实验室一枚，所以也希望赶紧发表文章，好去申请grant。不知道大家看看编辑意思
，是应该继续和STM挣扎，还是赶紧修改文章换别人家。 |

发帖数: 28562 | 3 兄弟，这个年头，不会有什么地方不要修改的。就算你送去PLoS ONE 也一样要你修改
。并不会让你省什么时间的。
但是如果reviewer 5问了一个特别刁难的问题。我的建议是你边针对他做实验边把这个
稿子投到别的地方去。因为你投到别的地方也有可能又碰见他。

会被锯掉。要是真的没法改，还不如试试其他杂志。

。并不会让你省什么时间的。
但是如果reviewer 5问了一个特别刁难的问题。我的建议是你边针对他做实验边把这个
稿子投到别的地方去。因为你投到别的地方也有可能又碰见他。

发表，两个reviewers又提了2-3个问题，绝大问题都可以简单改改文章就可以解决，唯
一的一个实验的要求是要求提高病理切片图片的质量（似乎是很容易解决的，我们计划
让外面的service实验室帮我们做）。
考虑到reviewers都还好，有点奇怪的就是编辑给我们写的信，比较negative：
I am sorry to have to tell you that we have decided to reject the manuscript
in its current form.
The review report includes comments from the initial submission and the
current submission; we did not ask Reviewer 1 to re-review. The referees
brought up criticisms of the work as presented and required additional
experimental support. In this case, we would be willing to consider a
revised, resubmitted manuscript that addresses the remaining concerns raised
by the referees.
I must emphasize that at this stage we have NOT committed space to this
contribution. The manuscript would be considered a new submission and would
need to survive a further round of in-depth review. We may select new
reviewers for re-review if needed. Furthermore the novelty of the finding
must not be compromised in the meantime.
不知道这是一个标准的大修（major revision）信件，还是说编辑部不感兴趣？

nature Medicine啊？万一中了比你现在的杂志管用多了，不中的话nature系列子刊众
多也可以t连review 一起ransfer省了不少时间

发帖数: 363 | 23 应该没有太大问题，不然人家也没时间和你耗着。因为这些杂志的editor都不是一线的
scientists，所以他们必须依赖reviewer而不能自己拍板。我最近经历的一个杂志，投
两次都是rejection but encourage resubmission，也没有要求太多东西，但是editor
的decision和你这个语气也是一样。当时我一边改心里也没底。后来第三次作为new
submission送回去都没有送审直接就收了。
