然是assistant professor。
我看了下他们学校的tenure handbook，上面说第4年是review for promotion to
associate。然后第5年是associate term begins。Harvard的associate professor是
没有tenure的，要在第7年被review for promotion to tenured professor，如果pass
了，第8年是final year of associate term or tenured professor.
那么这个教授为什么第6年还是AP。handbook上没写，如果没被promote to associate
，会怎么样。
我正考虑要不要去这个教授实验室工作（part-time research fellow，$30000 一年，
说根据以后的lab funding，我在实验室的表现，和我对实验技术的掌握会有成为full
time research fellow的机会）。

离校？

在斯坦福第4年没评上，还能在斯坦福待另外5年，那也不错。我以为是只有5年合同，
到deadline就要离校呢。

是一个没名气的医学中心。

发帖数: 172 | 8 是的，她的确有2个很小的孩子，可能是这期间生的。但是应该是第4年评估，就算延期
2年，今年也该出结果了。但是她现在有一个到2021年的R1.光有这个，我觉得学校都没
有道理让离校。

让他走因为人还可以继续看病人
