completed step two of the faculty search process, may I please request your

如果是教授问你的，而你还没有在校园面试的名单上的话
那么这个教授的行为已经构成了年龄歧视
考虑到教授应该不会这么傻
你应该已经在面试名单上

birthdate. As someone said, if the email was from a search committee member
for instance the chair/head, it is not a good sign. If I were you, I will
save this email for future use. If you failed to get the position, some
lawyer mightbe in interested in filling a suie case for you on their
discrimiation..

本科毕业年龄一般都是20-24之间。
这封信具体问生日，还是真的为准备visit，除了一种情况，
哈，系主任是星座迷。。。

息，不奇怪的。
