scc 和 department chair 都在 dean 之后才联系我的。

会尽量催Dean在今天5:00之前给我结果。煎熬。

candidate is not selected, any faculty members in a given institution can
collaborate with those in other institutions.
我们学校没有楼上说的这种保密的做法。search committee 决定了或者系里通过了
，就可以通知top candidate 把他报上去了，而且我们是主动通知的。以这种practice
看，如果search committee/chair 说现在在dean 这里，不能说，只能理解为推荐的
不是你，但是不想说直白，想留waiting list。

，所以现在就只能等结果了。3周应该正常，和你一样希望1-2周后就能有结果呀。

我们学校，就是直接Department head联系的我（实际上除了onsite见过一面，我入职
前就没再见过Dean），我是最后一个面的，周三面完，周五的下午就收到Department
Head的Email说要给我offer了

I guess it depends on how involved the Dean is, usually he/she should not
reject cases. |
