能发多的大文章（IF》10）自然最好，可博后的时间，毕竟也就2，3年。
这几年，是该努力多发些小文章（IF 4～8），还是努力熬大文章（IF》10）呢？
另，非一作的文章有多大用处啊？

building a landscape for your research. That means you need some small
papers to form fences and some big papers to be highly visible trees.

能在1，2年内，弄个一颗visible tree就不错了，这还要看大环境。
现在老板有些等不及了，要催发paper了，IF高低他到不是特别在乎。。 |

to go to research schook, better not to have many crappy publications, which
is easy but would be considered as incompetence in research; if you want to
go to teaching school, who cares about research, some crappy publictions
will do. |
