development award for NIH? NIH states that "will contribute up to $75000
plus fringe benefits per year toward the salary of the award recipient."
So, what amount should be for "Requested Salary" in the Research &Related
Budget Table? The university has the fringe benefit rate at 33%. Should I
request $75000 and 75000*0.33=$24750 for "Requested salary" and "Fringe
Benefits"? Or I can only request it for summer salary or a certain
percentage of my base salary from the university.
I am a small AP. No experience on this. Any input is highly appreciated.

发帖数: 1900 | 3 ap同学为啥都不联系pre-award administrator啊？ 他们手上都有一个你们学校up-to
date的budget spreadsheet.根据不同funding,你的工作职位，formula都写好了，你只
需要吧自己工资输进去，自动计算salary and fringe benefit,其他expense你可以自
己填，也可以告诉他。 最后 所有direct indirect cost都自动计算出来。
要申请award第一件事就是联系osp pre-award admin,跟他们交流。他们的工作就是帮
你申请和budgeting。 宁外一个小tip:nih 的career development award对
publication要求好像不低，特别是近期的。如果近期没啥publication就不要去凑分母
