I am currently invited to give some guest lectures at a MBA program and
wondering how to explore a more formal adjunct faculty position. It is
nothing about money but more about my professional credibility.
Any insights would be appreciated.

You should ask their department chair. Tell them why you are interested and
what you can bring to their department. It is good to prepare a sample
syllabus in advance.
