我现在是发考题，合同还有一年，但是我今年也找工作。结果有一个学校准备让我去校
园面试。 tenure-track,但是他们要求和我现在的系主任谈话。请问我应该怎么做？（
我虽然没和系主任直接说，但是我多少暗示了我在找工作）。 多谢各位的意见。 |

employer that she is looking for a job? Maybe you can first tell them that
you don't want the current department to know about your job hunting. If
they insist, you should talk to your department head first to explain your
situation before they talk to him. By the way, what's your reason for
looking for a job? Family reasons? Career dissatisfaction? Family excuse
may be a good one when talking to your dept head.

发帖数: 25 | 3 多谢指教。我也觉得这事情很奇怪。我找工作原因是我现在的这个不是 tenure-track
的，只是visiting, 但是合同是到明年才到期。

你们chair也可以理解, 毕竟临时的职位换成永久的,除非他打算给你一个tenure track
. 你这也不是骑驴找马,你得先把驴找到:-)

据说每个学校招聘TT Position的policy不一样，多半还是要重新贴广告，面试。这样
，整个过程要很久。
借此问一下，各位前辈，如果系里很认可俺的Teaching 和Research，有没有建议让NTT
尽快转成TT？谢谢！ |
